SCREEN RANT - EDITOR

As an editor at Screen Rant, I am responsible for guiding stories from ideation to publication. This includes monitoring current events in the entertainment beat to source stories, pitching both timely and evergreen news items, writing features, lists, and news, editing articles by other writers, ensuring all articles meet both AP and Screen Rant house guidelines, scheduling new articles and updates, and verifying operations run smoothly by providing support to writing staff. In this role, I am the sole weekend editor for the Superheroes section, which encompasses features, lists, and news for both DC and Marvel releases.
ASHRAE JOURNAL - ASSISTANT EDITOR, PODCAST PRODUCER

While working at the ASHRAE Journal, I have fulfilled many roles. On a weekly basis, I curate, write, and edit newsletters catered to an audience of engineering professionals, utilizing data to optimize newsletter click-through rates. As an offshoot of this responsibility, I also train other staffers on how to utilize our online newsletter platform. Additionally, as a podcast producer, I work alongside senior staff to plan episodes and book guests, and I record and edit the ASHRAE Journal Podcast as well as Hot Air myself. Aside from these duties, I also assist with editing, graphic design, website updates, and cultivating relationships with the Journal's contributors and ASHRAE Members.
OUTSIDER - STAFF WRITER

My stint as a staff writer at Outsider saw me writing primarily entertainment-based stories. The goal of the publication was to remain apolitical and focus on topics that bring us together. Many of my articles concerned classic television series and cinema classics, a passion of mine.

While working for Warner Bros. Entertainment, I served as an on set production assistant for the second season of Stargirl. During this time, I utilized my skills in multitasking to ensure a safe and effective work environment for the creative team.

From pop culture to art history, I have covered it all. The background I developed in my previous roles allowed me to take on any topic. My work has appeared throughout the internet, including on Comic Book Resources, Nicki Swift, and Curiosity Shots. Outside of journalism, I have worked on projects involving SEO strategy, corporate presentation design, ghostwriting, YouTube scriptwriting, and digital marketing.
"VACUUMING AWAY FIRE" - EDITORIAL STAFF
Spring 2020
"Vacuuming Away Fire" is the first-ever anthology of writing from SCAD seniors at the Atlanta campus. I served as one of the editors. My chief responsibility was proofreading the work of my classmates and devising how the  anthology would be structured. Additionally, I contributed the short story "Ocean Viewfinder" and the poem "There Is A Knock at the Door."

While working with the Connector, I also took on a staff writer role with the SCAD Atlanta chapter of Her Campus. I contributed a combination of creative and  journalistic pieces, all of which were catered to a female audience.

Starting as a featured writer and  becoming a contributing writer, I wrote both features and opinion pieces for the SCAD Connector, and  several of my short stories were published as part of their "Writer's Corner" section. Additionally, I was the sole event reporter for the 2020 SCAD aTVfest.
